My services include the following:

• Individual advice and in-depth personal discussions about your motivations for buying art or building a collection.

• Presenting alternatives - buying decisions are often made at first glance, sometimes at second or third. I provide an overview and curate a portfolio of individual works or groups of works tailored to your budget.

• Guiding you through all phases of the art acquisition process: from selecting a work, including on-site visits where I bring my art historical expertise to bear, to assessing its current and future market positioning, to managing all communication during the acquisition process with galleries, art dealers, auction houses or artists.

• Handling all import and customs formalities for purchases abroad and acting as the main point of contact for the logistics company and all service providers involved.

• Organising or carrying out follow-up work: framing, hanging or installation, insurance, ongoing market monitoring of your preferred artists. Additional services will depend on the mandate.

Corporate Collecting

• There is hardly a company of any standing that does not have its own art collection, that is not culturally engaged, or that does not make use of the positive and identification-creating influences of art in its everyday working life. The active collection, preservation, exhibition and communication of art and cultural assets in companies and company-related foundations is seen as part of a perceived social commitment. We work with you to develop concepts for how this can be achieved in your company, regardless of its size, and how you can use it to create a participatory offer for your employees.

Compensation for my efforts and fees:

• My fee is calculated in two stages. Once I have received your commission and clarified your wishes and expectations, I will compile all the information into a dossier that will form the basis of a successful acquisition of your preferred artwork. An invoice for my services to date will cover my expenses.

• In the event of a successful purchase of an identified artwork, a success fee based on a percentage of the commission value will serve as compensation for my efforts in the subsequent transaction. Special services and activities, such as travel, are considered separate.

• Of course, in addition to this model, individual agreements regarding our cooperation and my renumeration are always possible.
